Paint Wildwood City Name and Logo on Water Tower near Highway 109, near geographical center of Wildwood. Would look great and would promote our City.

Consistent with the City of Wildwood vision statement, the city should add Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) in a couple of prominent locations in the Wildwood Town Center. The Type 2 EVSE's are 240V and typically fully charge electric vehicles (Tesla, Nissan Leaf, Chevy Volt, and many other vehicles) in under 4 hours. However, most EV drivers need far less time to "top off" between trips. Adding EVSE's will demonstrate the City's commitment to the environment as well attract additional business to the Town Center. The EVSE's--if available for public use--can be displayed on various web sites and electric vehicle manufacturer's navigation systems to attract users. More info on EVSE as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charging_station . I suggest the Town Center as a starting point. If successful, other locations could also benefit.

The electronics recycling day is an excellent annual event. Perhaps this can be done twice per year to maximize the opportunity for residents to use the service.

HWY 109 and Clayton is a problem, as I'm sure the city is well aware. Mainly, it seems that it is worst during morning rush hour when commuters are trying to make their way north to I-64/40. The line for the light at Clayton often backs up most of the way to Hwy 100. This also causes some harrowing situations at the traffic circle at Pond-Grover Loop and 109. This morning, I also saw dangerous merging as people try to cut the line nearer to Clayton.
Part of the problem is the intersection at Shepherd and St. Alban Roe, where lines for people turning cause unnecessary traffic jams. What is the plan here? It seems like that empty field would be conducive to some rerouting of roads. Perhaps a "Thru Turn" that's been conducive to other situations?

If one has not already been performed, would suggest/request that feasibility study be initiated for placement of Round About traffic circle at north-most intersection of Hwy 109 and Babler (BA).
I assume that there would be many pros/cons to consider (including cost) but given preponderance of vehicles turning left onto Hwy 109 from Babler (BA), and given high speed and volume of Hwy 109 traffic (especially south-bound traffic where visibility from Babler is limited, it seems like this would be worthy of consideration. I am NOT suggesting a traffic stoplight, as I realize that folks would not want to add lights or traffic delays to Hwy 109, but a traffic circle round-about would have minimal impact on north/south Hwy 109 traffic, while greatly reducing risk of accident and loss-of-life that could result from collisions at that intersection.
A key factor to consider would be whether there have been such collisions at that intersection in the past (I do not know if there have been)

It was discussed at the December 14, 2015 City Council meeting that Birch Forest access would only be via a bicycle and pederstrian trail. It was my understanding that emergency vehicles could gain access only through a gated entrance to Bright Leaf. I believe that the latest proposal to be discussed on Monday violates this promise. Secondly, it is believed that PGL was shown on the December 14th proposal to be for possible future extension. It appears from the latest proposal this would be a connection to Taylor Road. Thirdly, I believe that the funding for any extension should come from the Developer funds and not the city and that a proposed traffice study be also funded by the Developer. As you can see I OPPOSE any cut through of Birch Forest and PGL and am for the trail as shown on the proposal from December.

The Old Eatherton cut-through off Hwy 109 that runs by Ashford Oaks Subdivision, the water tower and St. Albans is used heavily by pedestrians and bicycles. It is also becoming an increasingly busy road for vehicles (many of which do not obey the speed limit). To improve safety and make the city trail system more easily accessible to residents along this road, it would be wonderful to extend the sidewalks from Ashford Oaks to St. Albans, add a bike lane and speed bumps to help enforce the speed limit.

As summer is here, we find ourselves wishing that Wildwood has some of the amenities that we see in neighboring cities. For instance, it is nice that there are agreements for pool season passes at Ballwin and Ellisville, but when it comes to normal admissions,, Wildwood residents are considered non-residents and therefore do not qualify for any discounts. Likewise, these other cities have various program offerings in their community centers or facilities such as Tennis or sports lessons; various indoor classes like dance, technology, art, etc; and Summer Camp. Again, being non-residents, Wildwood residents pay a higher fee for these programs. Checking the parks and recreation site, it seems that Wildwood has very limited classes and programming. With more families moving in, it would be nice to have some sort of agreement with theses neighboring cities for resident rates or have Wildwood add or offer more for families with school age children.

I attending the meeting last night and found it interesting. Thank you for providing us with the opportunity to hear the thoughts of others. I found the ideal of building a bike/walking trail through the middle of our subdivisions much more desirable to a high traffic parkway or highway. I've been a Wildwood resident for over 30 years. My back yard now backs to Pond Grover Loop. I purchased this property 18 years ago thinking I had a great investment and a place to stay for long term. The new parkway development will ruin my property's value to say the least, not to mention the potential risks to our children and residents. As I listened to the meeting, I noticed that more than half of the board members were figiting, looking around, not paying attention to the speakers, frowning, etc. It's disappointing that a few people can ruin our safe neighborhoods for all of us. I'm not sure what the agenda's are....unless this is all about ego.

I am in favor of the trail at the end of Birch Forest. However, (a) I am not in favor of the Cut through of Pond Glover Loop, especially using tax dollars to accomplish this extenstion and (b) As stated I am in favor of the trail but do not see a need for an emergency gate for vehicles to enter.
I believe that the Pond Glover Loop funding should be removed from the budget for 2016. If the developer wants the extension then it should come from their funding. In my opinion this whole project is getting to be a political bouncing ball. The citizens in ward 5 have express their feelings and in the Mayors campaign comments he expressed a desire to hear and do what the citizens want. Therefore, WE DON'T WANT THE POND GLOVER EXTENSION OR BIRCH FOREST DRIVE TO HAVE A EMERGENCY ENTRANCE. HOPEFULLY THE COUNCIL WILL LISTEN TO THE CITIZENS COMMENTS. If the developer does not like the input from the surrounding citizens take their development elsewhere.
