Wildwood Named Best Place to Raise a Family in Missouri

Personal finance website WalletHub has named the City of Wildwood as the best place to raise a family in Missouri. WalletHub analysts ranked 86 of Missouri’s biggest cities using twenty-one data points of “family-friendliness.” Specific rankings were developed for categories, such as “family life and fun,” "education, health and safety,” “affordability” and “socioeconomics” to create the list of best places for children. “It’s nice to see our neighborhoods in Wildwood be recognized as great places to live and raise families,” said Mayor Jim Bowlin. “We are dedicated as a community to be an extraordinary place to live, work and play."
City Administrator Ryan Thomas said he wasn’t surprised by the news that came today. “This newest ranking by WalletHub joins several others that list our city among the best places to live in Missouri,” said Thomas. Recently, the neighborhood and school-focused website
Niche ranked Wildwood as the 2nd best place in Missouri to raise a family and 4th best place to live overall. Real estate blogger Movoto ranks Wildwood #4 across the state for best overall places in Missouri.
