St. Louis County Police - City of Wildwood Precinct has provided the following tips about having a safe 4th of July (Independence Day) Holiday this year!
- Fireworks are Illegal in St. Louis County and Wildwood. Leave them to the professionals!
- Drought conditions have increased the potential fire danger caused by fireworks.
- Pets. Keep them inside if possible. If they are left outside, make sure they have plenty of food and water.
- When grilling for the holiday make sure to keep an eye on active grills.
- When outside, make sure to use some precaution to avoid sun and heat exposure like a hat and sunscreen.
- Before traveling for the holiday make sure to inspect your vehicle and always wear your seatbelt
