The City of Wildwood will host its 9th Annual Plein Air Art Event on Saturday, May 6, 2023. "En plein air" is a French term that translates literally as 'in the open air.'" This type of artwork is completed on location, while outdoors. Artists and photographers working in all accepted media and photography will capture a special location(s) in the City, which will be revealed the day of the event. All artwork will be displayed (and must be available for sale) in City Hall’s lower lobby and judged by a special panel. Cash awards for Best in Show in each of the two (2) categories (traditional and photography) and Runner-Ups in both too! This event is a wonderful day of celebrating how art grows in Wildwood!
