[ARCHIVED] Route 109 Project and Closure Update

The City of Wildwood and Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) have partnered to fund a joint project to improve the safety and flow of traffic along the portion of Route 109, between Route 100 and Clayton Road. This project includes widening Route 109 to four lanes (two in each direction) and the construction of a roundabout at the north intersection of Route 109, with Route 100, and another roundabout at the intersection of Route 109, with Pond-Grover Loop Road, and the extension of the Pond-Grover Loop Road to the west. This extension of Pond-Grover Loop Road to the west will provide access to the future Wildwood Community Park Property.

The contractor is preparing to close the westbound Route 100 off-ramp to Route 109 on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 6:00 a.m. This ramp will be closed for a maximum of three (3) weeks to construct the new ramp pavement. A signed detour route will be in place during the closure.
