As of 9/24/2020, playgrounds in the City of Wildwood are still closed. All other park facilities are open (except playgrounds and permanent restrooms).
The reopening of the City's playgrounds was discussed at the 9/14/2020 City Council Meeting and postponed for further discussion at the 9/28/2020 City Council Meeting. City Council will discuss and vote on a reopening plan.
An application to reopen the playgrounds has also been submitted to the Department of Public Health, and is currently pending review.

In late March, much of the City’s parks facilities were modified or closed due to the global pandemic surrounding COVID-19 Coronavirus. With evolving restrictions and issuing of new guidelines from State, County, and federal health agencies and departments, all coupled with the need to get outside and exercise, the City of Wildwood is working to schedule the reopening of the City’s park and recreation facilities.
For the latest updates on closures and re-openings of park facilities, please check for updates here: Parks Covid-19 Updates
As programs and facilities re-open, social distancing is still required and capacities are likely to be reduced per Department of Public Health Re-Opening Guidelines.
