Waste Connections suspended operations yesterday (December 16, 2019) due to the inclement weather. The good news is they are up and running today and are only 1/2 a day behind. They plan to finish all routes by the end of the day on Saturday. We wanted to give a few bits of information regarding their operations this week:
1. Driver and resident safety is the number one priority.
2. Streets and cul-de-sacs that are snow covered and cannot be accessed by the trucks will not be picked up, which will likely impact several streets, particularly private streets not maintained by the City.
3. As always, toters need to be placed away from mailboxes, parked cars, and, now, snow banks.
