The Board of Adjustment of the City of Wildwood will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 20, 2022, which will begin at 6:30 p.m., via an online meeting platform (Zoom). The webinar will originate from City Hall, which is located at 16860 Main Street, Wildwood, Missouri 63040, but is a virtual meeting only.   The City of Wildwood respectfully requests all petitioners and other interested parties participate via Zoom’s Webinar Platform. Written comments are encouraged and can be submitted via the City’s website until Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. (CST).  All comments submitted for these purposes will become part of the record, pertinent to the applicable case number, and be promptly provided to the Board Members for their review.  

 

The purpose of this hearing is to consider a request for a variance to certain Zoning Ordinance regulations or interpretations of their intent made by the Director of Planning relating to the individual property identified below. Please review the individual notice of publication pertaining to your petition of interest for information relating to it.   To report any inaccuracies in the text or seek further information about this request, please contact the Department of Planning and Parks at (636) 458-0440, prior to the hearing date. At this public hearing, the following request will be presented to the Board of Adjustment for consideration and action: 

 


I.

B.A. 29-22 Rich Landmann, 14823 Conway Road, Chesterfield, Missouri 63017 – requests an exception to the Minimum Yard Requirements (General) for the purpose of constructing a new single-family dwelling upon the property located at 1224 Lewis Spring Drive (Locator Number 19U120146, Lewis Spring Farms – Lot 12), which would authorize a front yard setback of thirty-five (35) feet in lieu of the fifty (50) foot standard from the private roadway easement. This request is contrary to the requirements of Chapter 415.090 NU Non-Urban Residence District Regulations of the City of Wildwood Zoning Ordinance and St. Louis County Plat Book 305, Pages 93-94. (Ward Two)

B.A. 30-22 Kevin Alm, 18608 Ro Bridge Court, Wildwood, Missouri 63005 – requests an exception to the Minimum Yard Requirements (General) for the purpose of constructing a fence, which encompasses portions of the side and rear yard areas upon the property located at 18608 Ro Bridge Court (Locator Number 19X310191 – Lot 34 of the Wildhorse Spring Farm Subdivision – Plat Nine), which would thereby authorize a thirteen (13) foot tall fence (when set upon a six (6) foot retaining wall) within the southern side yard setback, and an eight (8) foot tall fence within the northern side yard setback, in lieu of the six (6) foot standard. This request is contrary to the requirements of Chapter 415.090 NU Non-Urban Residence District Regulations of the City of Wildwood Zoning Ordinance. (Ward One)
