The Board of Adjustment of the City of Wildwood will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 19, 2023, which will begin at 6:30 p.m., at Wildwood City Hall, in the City Hall Chambers, 16860 Main Street, Wildwood, Missouri 63040, and via the online meeting platform (Zoom). Written comments are encouraged and can be submitted via the City’s website until Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. (CST).  All comments submitted for these purposes will become part of the record, pertinent to the applicable case number, and be promptly provided to the Board Members for their review. A training session for Board Members will take place immediately following this meeting.  

The purpose of this hearing is to consider request for variance to certain Zoning Ordinance regulations or interpretations of their intent made by the Director of Planning relating to the individual property identified below. Please review the individual notice of publication pertaining to your petition of interest for information relating to it.  To report any inaccuracies in the text or seek further information about this request, please contact the Department of Planning and Parks at (636) 458-0440, prior to the hearing date. At this public hearing, the following request will be presented to the Board of Adjustment for consideration and action:

B.A. 25-23 Glenn Scott, 16245 Wynncrest Ridge Court, Wildwood, Missouri 63005

 – requests an exception to the Natural Resource Protection Requirements for the purpose of constructing a new fence, having a maximum height of four (4) feet six (6) inches, upon the property located at 16245 Wynncrest Ridge Court (Locator Number 21U240557, Wynncrest Subdivision, Plat Three – Lot 37), which would authorize its construction within the Natural Resource Protection Area. The overall length of fencing planned is 208 linear feet and generally to be placed in the front and side yard areas of the lot. This request is contrary to the requirements of the Chapter 420.200 Natural Resource Protection Standards and Procedures of the Subdivision and Development Regulations of the City of Wildwood Municipal Code, as applied to the properties located in the R-1A 22,000 square foot Residence District, Chapter 415.120 R-1A 22,000 square foot Residence District Regulations of the City of Wildwood Zoning Ordinance, and Planned Residential Development Overlay (PRD) Ordinance No. 630, which was approved by the Wildwood City Council on July 24, 2000. Notice is hereby given that the Board of Adjustment may also hold a closed meeting for the purpose of dealing with matters relating to one or more of the following: Legal Actions, Causes of Action, Litigation or Privileged Communications Between the City’s Representatives and its Attorneys [RSMO 610.021(1) 1994]; Lease, Purchase or Sale of Real Estate [RSMO 610.021 (2) 1994]; hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting employees by a public governmental body [RSMO 610.021 (3) 1994]; bidding specification [RSMO 610.021 (11) 1994]; sealed bids and related documents, until the bids are opened’ and sealed proposals and related documents or any documents related to a negotiated contract until a contract is executed, or all proposals are rejected [RSMO 610.021 (12) 1994]; and/or individually identifiable personnel records, performance ratings or records pertaining to employees or applicants for employment [RSMO 610.021 (13) 1994.]
