The Board of Adjustment of the City of Wildwood will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 15, 2022, which will begin at 6:30 p.m., via an online meeting platform (Zoom). The webinar will originate from City Hall, which is located at 16860 Main Street, Wildwood, Missouri 63040, but is a virtual meeting only.   The City of Wildwood respectfully requests all petitioners and other interested parties participate via Zoom’s Webinar Platform. Written comments are encouraged and can be submitted via the City’s website until Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. (CST).  All comments submitted for these purposes will become part of the record, pertinent to the applicable case number, and be promptly provided to the Board Members for their review.  

 

The purpose of this hearing is to consider a request for a variance to certain Zoning Ordinance regulations or interpretations of their intent made by the Director of Planning relating to the individual property identified below. Please review the individual notice of publication pertaining to your petition of interest for information relating to it.   To report any inaccuracies in the text or seek further information about this request, please contact the Department of Planning and Parks at (636) 458-0440, prior to the hearing date. At this public hearing, the following request will be presented to the Board of Adjustment for consideration and action:

B.A. 27-22 The Fields at Clouds End, 850 Babler Park Drive, Chesterfield, MO 63005, c/o Jeff Atkins, 6437 Sprucefield, O’Fallon, Missouri 63132

  1. A request for an exception to the setback requirement for private stables in order to allow for the adjustment of certain boundary lines of two (2) lots that are located at 840 Babler Park Drive and 850 Babler Park Drive [St. Louis County Locator Numbers: 21X640291 and 21X640309], which would thereby authorize an existing private stable and an existing barn to be thirty (30) feet from the adjusted property line in lieu of the one hundred (100) foot requirement. This request is contrary to Section 415.090 “NU” Non-Urban Residence District Regulations of the City of Wildwood’s Zoning Ordinance. (Ward Three)

B.A. 28-22 Cyber Security Services, 16442 Village Plaza Drive, Wildwood, Missouri 63011, c/o David Wren, 4015 Princeton Ridge Drive, Wildwood, Missouri 63025

A request for an exception to the City’s Sign Regulations, as applied within the Town Center Area, for the purpose of the installation of permanent signs at 16442 Village Plaza Drive [St. Louis County Locator Number: 23U140721], thereby allowing business wall sign components at heights of forty-four (44) inches in lieu of the twenty-four (24) inch maximum.  This request is contrary to the regulations set forth in Chapter 415.420 Sign Regulations for all the C-2 Shopping District and Chapter 415.190 C-8 Planned Commercial District Regulations of the City of Wildwood Zoning Ordinance, along with Amended C-8 Planned Commercial District Ordinance #1895. (Ward Four)
