In partnership with local Boy Scout Troops, the City's Watershed Erosion Task Force conducted a training and then field work to educate the Scouts on soil and water conservation and how it impacts Wildwood. The Scouts visited healthy creeks and degraded watersheds to understand the impacts of erosion. They completed fieldwork, which allowed them to obtain a Soil and Water Conservation Merit Badge, while also assisting the City in cataloging areas of concern and detention/retention basins. Their work and assistance is invaluable to the City.
