Summer Tour of Wildwood

Shop Small and Collect Them All!

Thanks to everyone that participated in the City’s first ever Wildwood Snowman Search!  It was a great event, and we received many compliments from residents and business owners for this new initiative in Wildwood.  We received almost 3,000 total entries into the contest and awarded over $2,400 in total prizes.  Keeping with that momentum, the business owners of Wildwood are now planning to host the City’s first ever “Summer Tour of Wildwood” Passport Program this Summer.

In this event, residents/visitors can pick up a “Passport” book from participating businesses and obtain stamps to place in their book.  Business owners of Wildwood are invited to participate by registering with the City and designing a custom stamp to place in participants’ Passports upon request.  Businesses may choose to offer discounts or coupons to event participants.  Each Passport will be broken down by the 11 historic communities of Wildwood (Grover, Pond, etc.), with a brief history of each community.  Residents are encouraged to pick up a Passport and collect stamps from as many businesses as possible.  Upon receiving a certain number of stamps, residents can be entered into a random drawing for cash prizes.  If any resident visits all participating businesses and collects every available stamp, they will receive bonus entries into the drawing.  Depending on how many businesses participate, the drawing will include cash prizes of up to $1,000.  The contest is scheduled to run from May 17 – June 21, corresponding with the City’s “Music on Main” concert series.
