Wildwood, Mo. – The City Council of Wildwood approved the appointment of two new members at their meeting Monday night, Brian Rull and Rob Meinert.
Mr. Rull (Ward 6) has served the Rockwood Forest Association as a trustee for 11 years, and has a background in accounting, business administration, and law. Mr. Meinert (Ward 8) has served on the City of Wildwood’s Charter Review Commission and the Park Action Plan Update Committee and has a background in accounting.
The appointments of Mr. Rull and Mr. Meinert were approved by the Council on a 10-3 and 11-3 vote, respectively. They will fill the vacancies until the next general municipal election on April 3, 2018. They take over for Jerry Porter and Larry Goodson, who both resigned last week for personal reasons.
“I want to thank Jerry and Larry for their positive contributions to Wildwood,” said Mayor Jim Bowlin. “I wish them the best for the future.”
