From time to time, but not less than every ten (10) years, a Charter Review Commission is appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of a majority of the members of the City Council to consider whether any amendments to the City Charter are appropriate. This process has begun in 2017, and the appointed Charter Review Commission is seeking comments from the public on suggested amendments to the City Charter.
The current City Charter is available at the following link:
Written comments are requested to be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2017 to:

The Charter Review Commission meets next on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at Wildwood City Hall, where it will begin its review of any written comments received. It will also hear oral comments from the public at the beginning of this meeting.
